1. Calabash/basket
The calabash/basket is obviously associated with rich milk and food in the land, Adamawa state is one of the most popular states you can find fresh milk and fruits.
2. Two horses and Staff
The logo was sided by two standing horses and staff on green vegetation, horse was there because is the most respected animal now and past of the Adamawa state tradition and can be found in all traditional ruler’s houses, including Fombina Royal Palace, Mubi Royal Palace Gurin Royal Palace, Numan Royal Palace, and Ganye Kingdom. They were used during the war, for transportation among others.
The staff signifies or symbolizes royalty and power.
3. Green vegetation
The green vegetation two horses are standing by symbolizes Agriculture, Economy, Abundance, and conservation. Adamawa is associated with two vegetation zones, the Sub-Sudan and Northern Guinea Savannah zones, and can grow cash crops such as cotton and groundnut while food crops include rice, maize, yam, cassava, guinea corn, and millet.

The majority of people leaving on the banks of the rivers engage in fishing, places like; Njuwa lake, Rugange Village Yola South, and the fishing festival is performed by Buatiye (Bata) people of Rugange, Njoboliyo, Dasin, Dulo, Bagale, Dagri and Vunoklan villages. Ribadu, Shaffa Jauole and Bagale lakes in Fufore local government, Geriyo in Yola north local government, Lagbundo in Girei local government, Kuntiri lakes in Demsa local government, Duwang in Numan local Government, Gyawana and Lamurde local government and River Gongola in Kiri Dam, most of the fishers are the indigenous people, Bwatiye, Bata, Kanakuru) and few migrants comprises of the Hausa and Jukun (Ladu and Neiland, 1997).
In Northern Adamawa, along River Declichim in Michika Local Government and on Yedzaran and Magar Rivers in Madagali local government, the lake at Yinagu in Madagali local government, where the fishing festival is organized yearly, Ending a week of the month of May to mark the beginning of planting season in Marghi land at Madagali local government.
Plant
The plant is nothing more than a symbol that represents the Agricultural Economy and the conservation of the state. Adamawa is associated with two vegetation zones, the Sub-Sudan and Northern Guinea Savannah zones, and can grow cash crops such as cotton and groundnut while food crops include rice, maize, yam, cassava, guinea corn, and millet. Adamawa state has a strong agricultural base, mineral deposits freshwater resources, and energy sources. Groundnut is grown majorly in Hong and other local governments and is exported to other states.
Cow
The cow is a symbol that signifies the breeding of cows and milking, Adamawa is obviously one of the top states you can find fresh milk. Sebore Farm In Mayo-Belwa is one of the biggest exporters of cow milk in Nigeria and a fresh yogurt producer.
